The Cleveland Browns announced their inactives for today’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
Like last week, the attention was focused on whether CB **Tyson Campbell** would be active. He played last week, but left a few times during the game to injury, and was listed as questionable with an ankle, hip, and knee injury. Another defensive back, S **Grant Delpit**, was also questionable this week with a shoulder injury.
The inactives for this week are out, and unfortunately, the team will be without Campbell. Delpit is active. Here are the Browns’ Week 3 inactives:
* QB **Taylen Green** (third QB)
* OG **Teven Jenkins**
* C **Parker Brailsford**
* LB **Justin Jefferson**
* CB **Tyson Campbell**
With Campbell out, CB **Mekhi Blackmon** is expected to start opposite CB **Denzel Ward**, while CB **Myles Harden** maintains his versatile role.
The Panthers have a few key wide receivers questionable heading into the game. Leading WR **Jalen Coker** is active, but WR **Xavier Legette** is out. The Panthers’ inactives this week include TE **Ja’Tavion Sanders**, QB **Haynes King** (emergency third QB), Legette, S **Nick Scott**, LB **Devin Lloyd**, OT **Albert Reese**, and DT **Cam Jackson**. Lloyd had already been ruled out, but is the biggest lost for the Panthers.
