The defender decided to sign for the club from North Carolina Courage in January 2024, and she marked that half season in North London by getting her hands on the Conti Cup. It has been onwards and upwards since for the player.
European and world honours
She was then part of the backline that held onto a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League final in May 2025. The team then completed the set last campaign as they earned the inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup in February 2026 at the Emirates Stadium.
‘I’m so happy she’s staying’
Fox was recognized for her work with nominations for the Ballon d’Or and CONCACAF Player of the Year in 2025, while she was twice part of the PFA Team of the Year over the last two seasons.
The BBC now reports that she has signed a deal that will prolong her stay in London by three years.
The contract extension is hugely deserved for the USA international, and Slegers shared her excitement to keep working with the player as Arsenal aspire to earn the game’s biggest honors.
“I’m so happy she’s staying. I think the club and me as well were very pleased to continue to work with her. She’s been here for a while now, she’s part of Arsenal and live her life and football life and the values that we think are important so it feels like she’s really become part of Arsenal .
“It’s really exciting to work with her and also to continue to work with her because she's only going to get better I think so we’re very happy, very pleased and she brings so much quality to our squad.”
