What NFL teams are 0-3? Updated standings for Week 3 with Chargers, Texans, more in danger image
Over all of NFL history, only seven teams have started a season 0-3, then turned things around to make the playoffs. A handful of squads in 2026 will likely be looking to join that exclusive group.
After the Falcons' win on "Thursday Night Football," another seven teams still enter NFL Week 3 at 0-2. But as the 2025 Texans showed, that's not an insurmountable hole to overcome, though urgency will required if teams like the Chargers, Texans and Dolphins lose again on Sunday and fall to 0-3.
Already, a handful of squads are starting to fall to the bottom of their divisions, staring down lost 2026 seasons.
Here is a look at the 0-2 teams at risk of falling to 0-3 on Sunday.

What NFL teams are 0-2?
Chargers
Things are not looking good for Harbaugh's unit. After consecutive 26-14 losses, first to the Cardinals, then to the Raiders, the Chargers have a road matchup to the Bills on Sunday afternoon.
Between injuries, a disconnected offense and penalty issues, Los Angeles has found itself staring down more elite opponents as it searches for win No. 1, set to face the Seahawks, Broncos and Chiefs over the next three weeks. If the Chargers can't beat the Bills, things won't get easier soon.
Dolphins
While expectations weren't very high in Miami this season, the Dolphins have struggled to compete so far this season. They'll face a surging Chiefs squad on Sunday after losing to the Raiders and 49ers.
Neither of Miami's losses so far have even come within one score, allowing Las Vegas and San Francisco to win with ease as the Dolphins appear headed for the top of the 2027 draft.
Colts
Barring a tie, only one AFC South team between the Colts and Texans can emerge with their first win of the season in Week 3. If Indianapolis loses, Shane Steichen's team will have lost 10 consecutive games dating back to 2025.
Despite Daniel Jones and the Colts offense impressing at times, a struggling defense will have Indianapolis trending toward the bottom of the division if it can't bounce back in Week 3.
Texans
After falling to a pair of AFC contenders to open the season, the Bills and Bengals, Houston certainly needs a bounce-back in Week 3. Despite having a reputation as one of the NFL's best defenses, the Texans haven't lived up to that billing so far.
Entering Sunday's game against the Colts, the Texans remain winless after C.J. Stroud and the offense failed to score a touchdown against Cincinnati in Week 2.
Titans
Tennessee was surprisingly competitive against Philadelphia in Week 2, but a loss is still a loss. So far, the Titans have yet to prove that the Robert Saleh era will be much different.
On Sunday, though, the Titans may have a good opportunity for their first win when they face the Giants, who will be rolling out backup Jameis Winston at quarterback after Jaxson Dart's injury.

Commanders
Jayden Daniels' injury was the worst part about what's been an ugly first two weeks of Washington's season. The hope was that a healthy Daniels could bounce back from 2025, guiding the Commanders back toward the playoffs. That hasn't materialized so far.
Washington faces the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks on Sunday, staring down an 0-3 start if Marcus Mariota can't rally the Commanders.
Buccaneers
No head coach may be feeling more early-season pressure than Todd Bowles, who may be on the hot seat already if Tampa Bay can't pull off a win over Minnesota in Week 3.
Despite agreeing to an extension with Baker Mayfield right before the season began, the Buccaneers lose one-score games to the Bengals and Browns to open 2026. Now, they'll be tasked with the Vikings' stingy defense.
