Alexander Isak has returned to Liverpool after an injury scare on international duty with Sweden, but there is no cause for alarm as the injury is not serious.
Isak himself took to social media to assure fans that he is not set for another lengthy injury layoff, but instead suffered a sore but unserious toe injury after a defender stomped on his toe.

Sweden national team manager Graham Potter, however, provided an update to Swedish and Liverpool fans, telling the press that Isak has a minor thigh issue.
Either way, Isak has returned to Liverpool with two weeks to rest before Manchester City travel to Anfield in the Premier League on 11 October.
Potter said: “He’s got a small problem with his thigh. It’s not a big one but because of the amount of games we’ve got in a small space of time, he won’t be able to make those.
“Not a big one but it’s frustrating for him and obviously for us. It is what it is but we move forward with the players we have.
“It was during the game. Like anything, you sometimes get bumps and bruises in the game, you might think it’s a bit of a dead leg or something. But actually as the 24 hours, 48 hours after the game, not quite what you think. Unfortunately after getting it checked out, it’s a little bit more than what you think during the match. He has to miss the rest of the camp.”

Keeping Isak fit and in form is vital for Liverpool
Isak’s absenteeism last season was unavoidable. Liverpool, however, suffered without their £125m, even if Hugo Ekitike was fantastic before he too was struck down by injury.
This season, Isak has been in fine form for the Reds and keeping this purple patch going will be critical for their chances of success in all competitions.
Four goals in five Premier League games make him the second-highest top scorer – one goal behind Erling Haaland. Their developing battle for the Golden Boot will be another major feature in the clash at Anfield in two weeks.
Hopefully, Isak will be fit and ready to go on the 11th.
