Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is ACTIVE for the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil following a one-game absence due to a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old wideout was listed as questionable after logging just one limited practice on Friday. Concerns about the playing surface at Maracaña Stadium in Rio de Janeiro cast additional doubt on Flowers’ ability to play. But he and the Ravens’ training staff determined he was good to go following a pre-game warm-up on the field.
Flowers may be on a pitch count during the game, but his first-half explosion in Week 1 proved he can make a massive impact on even a handful of snaps, especially against an undermanned Cowboys secondary. The Ravens will still need Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews to follow up their encouraging Week 2 showings, but Flowers availability ensures Baltimore’s offense can have their best on the field (when the best is needed).
