Milton Williams takes the blame, but Patriots entire defense fell apart against Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Milton Williams let out a long, slow, exasperated sigh.

The big defensive tackle, who has been the centerpiece of so many good moments for the Patriots over the last year-plus, stood at his locker after Sunday’s 35-6 loss to the Jaguars and talked about what happened to the defense.

“Is there somebody y’all want to blame? Look at me. Blame me,” said Williams, minutes after the Patriots allowed 137 rushing yards and 4.6 yards per carry. “I’ll take the blame.”
