Team Glazer and Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht have to be beside themselves after watching today’s loss to the Vikings.
Joe already called Bucs offensive coordinator Zac Robinson’s job security into question. If the powers that be at One Buc Palace have discussed KitKat-eating Bucs coach Todd Bowles’ job security, how could they also not have discussed Robinson?
Think about it: The Bucs’ offense is brutal. Chris Godwin, a well-established player and Pro Bowler, is hardly involved in the offense. Same with Emeka Egbuka.
What is Team Glazer paying Godwin for if he’s not going to be used? Why did the Bucs draft Egbuka in the first round if he’s not going to be used?
They aren’t open? Well, isn’t the offensive coordinator’s job is to scheme guys open?
At halftime, tight end Cade Otton had five targets. At the same time, Egbuka had three. Godwin, two. That makes no sense to Joe at all.
It makes so little sense; Joe doesn’t know how Robinson can justify this emphasis on getting the ball to Otton.
Pretty soon this nonsense is going to start costing people their jobs. Maybe it already has and we just don’t know about it yet.
