In the home opener, the Miami Dolphins stayed close to the Kansas City Chiefs up until the fourth quarter at Hard Rock Stadium. However, they had to go home after losing 24-10. However, this win by Chiefs has become the center of a refereeing controversy.

During the game, Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis was tackled by Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton. His helmet came off, but the referees didn’t throw a flag. (Willis went 20-of-36 (55.6%) for 210 passing yards and 56 rushing yards, also throwing his first two turnovers of the season.)
Fans Rip Officials Over Chiefs ‘Favoritism’
The video of this incident went viral on X, like the rest, and fans started accusing the referees of showing ‘favoritism’ toward the Chiefs.

“Favoritism right there for all to see!” a fan wrote.
“It wasn’t Mahomes so that play is legal. Boycott the NFL until it because a real league again instead of the Mahomes Football League,” another reacted.
“This league is a joke The Chiefs get all the calls Total bullsh*t,” one reacted.

With the win, Patrick Mahomes reached the milestone of 115 wins in his first 150 starts. He equaled the all-time record of legend QB Tom Brady and surpassing Joe Montana (108).
Even though this is the Chiefs’ fifth 3-0 start, the Dolphins gave them a tough challenge. Howeverm Chiefs’ fourth-down defense came up clutch. On the other hand, the Dolphins were on the back foot from the very first drive when star running back De’Von Achane went out with a knee injury.
In Week 4, the Chiefs will face the Las Vegas Raiders, while the Dolphins, looking for their first win, will host the Minnesota Vikings.
