Jonathan Greenard is set to make his Eagles debut tonight. After missing the first two games of the season as he recovered from a pectoral injury, Greenard will be active for tonight’s matchup against the Bears, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Greenard represented Philly’s main offseason acquisition. After acquiring the star pass rusher in a trade with the Vikings, the Eagles immediately signed the edge rusher to a four-year, $100MM extension ($50MM guaranteed). The veteran was expected to add some major reinforcement to their pass-rush corps.
However, a pectoral injury sidelined the veteran for much of training camp and the first few weeks of the regular season.
