Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni had a sideline eruption following a scary moment during their Monday Night Football matchup against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Chicago.
The broadcast caught Sirianni heated on the sidelines after a hit on Jalen Hurts momentarily took the star quarterback out of the game for a concussion check. In the video, the 45-year-old Sirianni can be seen seemingly directing an NSFW comment to someone.
Some lip readers believe that Sirianni shouted “You're a p***y.”
It was not clear whom he was addressing with his outburst, but Sirianni was probably talking to Bears linebacker D’Marco Jackson, who laid the hit on Hurts.
Sirianni has always been passionate about his job, so it is perhaps fair to say that his reaction was on brand. He has been coaching the Eagles since the 2021 NFL season.
A medical timeout was called after the hit, as Hurts entered the sideline tent to get checked for a possible concussion. However, he was later cleared and returned to the game. During the brief moment Hurts was off the field, veteran Andy Dalton took over the chores under center, and it did not go well, as he got picked off on the only pass he threw before Hurts returned.
The Eagles are looking to stay undefeated after taking care of business in the first two weeks of the 2026 NFL regular season. They defeated the Washington Commanders in Week 1 to the tune of a 24-22 score before trouncing the Tennessee Titans in Week 2, 24-20.
