The Miami Dolphins are 0-3 and have lost all three of their games by at least two touchdowns this season. It’s a little early to start talking about whether they could go winless this season, but it’s never too early to start thinking about Miami Heat basketball as Dolphins’ head coach Jeff Hafley learned on Monday.
Hafley was surprised by the lack of turnout to his regular Monday press conference following a 24-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. When Hafley asked if this was everyone a member of the press who must have drawn the short straw in the newsroom told him that it was Heat media day.

Dolphins HC Jeff Hafley was visibly taken aback by the lack of reporters at his press conference today, with many of them attending Heat Media Day instead:
Coach: “is this everyone that’s coming …?”
Reporter: “it’s Heat media day.”

Today was the first opportunity for many media members to talk to Giannis Antetokounmpo. People needed to know about the iguana situation. Questions about a gameplan for the undefeated Minnesota Vikings could wait.

The good news for Hafley is that the media should return next week.
Not to mention there aren’t any conflicts with the Heat and Dolphins’ schedules again the rest of the year. They both play on a few of the same Sundays once the NBA season gets going, but the Dolphins were not scheduled a single primetime game this season so that shouldn’t be a problem with most NBA games taking place after dark.
