Well, that was horrific to watch, as the Philadelphia Eagles embarrassed themselves with a 27-7 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 3.
The Eagles committed 10 penalties, were under 250 yards, and had three turnovers that hurt their chances of winning. That loss put them at a 2-1 record and still holding strong in the NFC East, but not nearly where they should be after playing a third-string quarterback.
It was hard to find winners because, honestly, most of the players on the Eagles deserve to be in the loser category, but let's pick only a few. Here are the winners and losers from Philly's loss to the Bears.

Loser: Riq Woolen, CB
In the first two weeks, Woolen played great football, but the Bears played him and torched him all night. He had five tackles, but he allowed completion after completion with soft coverage and drew two defensive penalties. It was by far his worst performance so far, and it has to get better.
Winner: Quinyon Mitchell, CB
Mitchell was one of the very few bright spots, with two pass deflections and two tackles for loss after zero pass deflections in the first two games. No one had a perfect performance tonight for the Eagles, but Mitchell was the only one close to being considered the MVP of the night.
Loser: Andrew Mukuba, S
It's time to talk about Mukuba being a bust, as he hasn't played well this season. He did tie for the team lead in tackles with nine, but that doesn't reflect his missed tackles and poor coverage execution. These are becoming common themes for Mukuba to fix, or Philly will have to move on from him because this won't cut it.
Winner: Saquon Barkley, RB
Barkley showed flashes of looking like a great running back, with consistent runs of four or five yards. He finished with 15 carries for 82 yards in the loss. The offense really struggled, but Barkley had a really solid performance.
Loser: Tank Bigsby, RB
After all our hype about Bigsby stepping up if Barkley was hurt and not playing in this game, he's stepping in and is really disappointed this season. He was already averaging under three yards per carry entering the game, and then had a five-yard completion that ended in a fumble. Bigby would get very little action after that, which was probably the right call.
Loser: Vic Fangio, DC
Ben Johnson has owned Fangio over the last two years, as last season was 281 rushing yards from Chicago, but in 2026, third-string QB Case Keenum threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns. Fangio called too many soft coverage plays and let Keenum tear him apart all game long, so this was an embarrassing coaching performance for him.
Loser: Sean Mannion, OC
Mannion called a horrible game. Not running the Tush Push with Andy Dalton on first-and-goal in the first half, then letting him pass on third-and-goal, two plays later was unforgivable play calling. He abandoned the running game in the second half, and his offense only got 248 yards. This Eagles offense has the same problems as last year, and Mannion is part of the problem.

Loser: Nick Sirianni, HC
On the Andy Dalton interception, why didn't Sirianni call a timeout to clear Hurts and let him play? This Eagles team was undisciplined, with 10 penalties, and never got into a rhythm. Sirianni is going to have to take the heat for how bad this team looked.
