NFL quarterback Jayden Daniels lifted Washington Commanders fans' hopes on Monday as a new update on his injury emerged.
The signal caller, 25, was sidelined for the Commanders' 33-31 win over the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks, at the weekend after suffering an injury blow in the team's Week 2 matchup.
Daniels dislocated his left elbow when he tried to brace himself while stumbling during the 32-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on September 20.
However, he fueled speculation that he could make a return to the field earlier than expected after news broke that he will be making the trip to London.
Daniels will reportedly travel with the team to the British capital for their Week 4 clash against the Indianapolis Colts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as part of the NFL's series of international games.
The Commanders are slated to make the journey on Tuesday and Daniels is also reportedly expected to get on the practice field ahead of the game on Sunday.

Yet, the update does not necessarily guarantee that Daniels is on track to start the in the international game.
'That would be him, for sure, yes. But to his credit, he's been absolutely putting in the work,' Washington head coach Dan Quinn said. 'I am excited to get him back out on the practice field.'
During last week's game against the Dallas Cowboys, Daniels lost his footing after an offensive lineman stepped on his foot.
As he was going to the ground, Daniels held his hand out to break his fall, only for his non-throwing elbow to buckle.
Quinn confirmed following the game that the quarterback had dislocated his elbow. However, he did clarify that X-Rays on the injury did not reveal any fractures.
Daniels suffered the same injury last November and kept the Washington Commanders quarterback out for a month before he tried to play again and aggravated it.
He has completed 29-of-51 passes for 260 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions in two games so far.
Marcus Mariota started Sunday’s win over the Seahawks and is currently in line to start Week 4 again.
