Man City lifted the Premier League title after the 2013/14 season but they may not hold onto the trophy
It remains the burning question after Manchester City's guilty verdict in their case against the Premier League - what will be the punishment and, more importantly, could City be stripped of any titles.
City - who continue to deny any wrongdoing and say they will appeal against the verdict of guilty on 114 out of 115 charges of alleged financial breaches - emerged as English football’s most dominant force during the 2010s. But should they be stripped of their titles, as many as eight trophies could be changed in the history books, including the one that started it all.
City ended their long drought for silverware in 2011, when they beat Stoke in the FA Cup final. Yaya Toure was the difference-maker that day, just as he had been in the semi-final against Manchester United. Tony Pulis has already spoken out about the charges, admitting feels cheated by the verdict . . .
