The Dallas Cowboys are ailing on defense.
It was [reported](/dallas-cowboys-injuries/220218/stephen-jones-jalen-thompson-injury) on Monday that safety Jalen Thompson, one of the handful of players banged up in last week’s loss in Brazil, would miss a month or more, and Jerry Jones corroborated that on Tuesday morning during his appearance on 105.3 The Fan.
Jerry also noted that Jonathan Bullard is likely to miss around 3-4 weeks and that Shavon Revel has an injury situation going on as well, but they are optimistic there.
It goes without saying that the Cowboys are down significantly on that side of the ball. P.J. Locke and Malik Hooker are players who were hurt on defense even before the game, so the team is going to have to get a bit creative.
Complicating matters even more is that the Cowboys have two games between now and next Thursday night. There truly is no rest for the weary.
