Three weeks into the season, the New Orleans Saints have faced three transcendent skill position players, and they’ve now gotten burned twice.
Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a Week 1 Saints loss. Against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, the Saints managed to limit Derrick Henry to a relatively modest 68 yards and a touchdown. New Orleans’ latest task was the Raiders’ superb tight end Brock Bowers.
And Bowers won decisively.
