Stephen A. Smith has always had a thing against the Dallas Cowboys, with the veteran analyst frequently taking shots at the team and their fans over the years. Of course, it is a well-known fact that it is not exactly the Dallas players whom Smith hates, but the fan base of the team.

However, Smith could not help himself from calling out the Cowboys players recently, especially Dak Prescott after his controversial throw during Week 3. The quarterback had George Pickens waiting for the ball in the last moments of the game, but ended up simply throwing the ball away to the side.

This act clearly infuriated every football fan watching the game, especially since a successful pass would have helped Dallas grab another win for their season. Since the game, Prescott has been vilified and trolled by many, with Smith too sharing his two cents on the matter. However, Smith did not expect Michael Irvin to stand up for the Cowboys star and lashed out at him right in the middle of the ‘First Take’ episode.

“Y’all tried to get away with one. You were gonna come on national TV and try to defend it. You know good as damn well that was not a pass interference. Just stop it. Don’t sit up there and don’t interrupt me when I’m talking.” Stephen A. Smith said.

Stephen A. Smith watched the game in person in Brazil, where the Cowboys locked horns with the Ravens. Smith even jokingly posted a clip of himself snickering to the camera after Dallas lost, openly showing his contempt for the Cowboys.

For Smith personally, the analyst does not want to see the Chiefs meet the 49ers. It seems like the man has had enough of these two teams taking each other on, especially since both of them have faced each other twice in previous years. Kansas City has emerged as the winner in both clashes, and while 49ers fans would want to see their team grab a win against KC, Smith does not want to see either franchise go for the Lombardi.
