The international break is approaching its midway point and a handful of Liverpool players were in action for their countries on Tuesday evening.
England, in particular, claimed a 2-0 triumph over Czechia in the Nations League to bounce back from the weekend's defeat at Wembley against world champion Spain. Interestingly, the Three Lions' opening goal could have been a Liverpool goal in an alternate universe as Trent Alexander-Arnold picked out Anthony Gordon with an exquisite pass in the second half.
Harry Kane doubled the advantage soon after to certainly put the result to bed, but Thomas Tuchel's side was not as comfortable as it should've been against 10 men. Now, attention will turn to the meeting against Croatia on Saturday night.
So, with all that said, here's a look at the latest Liverpool international roundup.
Rio Ngumoha (England)

While the focus may have been on the goal scorers, Liverpool fans would have been more concerned with Rio Ngumoha's cameo in the second half in Prague. Having been left out of the squad to face Spain a few days ago, the teenager was named in Tuchel's squad to face Czechia after Manchester City's Nico O’Reilly withdrew due to injury.
The Liverpool starlet took to the pitch with a little under 20 minutes left to play. He replaced Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, who had a quiet night in front of goal.
It marks a competitive England debut for Ngumoha after he featured in a friendly against New Zealand prior to the World Cup in the summer. It's been a stunning rise for the 18-year-old, who is also vying for a regular starting place under Andoni Iraola at Liverpool.
Victor Munoz (Spain)

Elsewhere in England's Nations League group, Spain was also in action and carried on its winning form with a victory over Croatia. Another Liverpool winger, Victor Munoz, was left out by manager Luis de la Fuente over the weekend but was back available for selection this time around.
Much like Ngumoha, Munoz was a second-half substitute for Spain as he replaced Lamine Yamal in the 68th minute. Spain was already cruising at that point by three goals to one, courtesy of a double from Yamal and a goal from Marc Pubill.
Nico Williams added a fourth for Spain late on as he was set up by Pedri. Spain remains comfortably top of Group C with two wins from two so far.
Trey Nyoni (England U20s)

In youth football, Liverpool midfield starlet Trey Nyoni was also in action on Tuesday. England's under-20 side, managed by Darren Moore, continued its 100 percent record in the U20 Euro Elite League with a 2-1 victory against France. England took control of the game early, and it was Nyoni who set up Mikey Moore for the Young Lions' second of the game.
France pulled a goal back with 20 minutes left on the clock, but England was able to cling on to the win. The result puts England top of the U20 Euro Elite League, sitting on six points ahead of Czechia in second place.
England and Nyoni's next test will come at the weekend with a clash against Germany. Much like Ngumoha, Nyoni is also pushing for more regular first-team minutes at Liverpool under Iraola.
