It has been a turbulent few days for Manchester City

A number of Manchester City fans received emails on Tuesday morning from the club asking for their help. It was the monthly questionnaire, seeking their opinions on 'life as a City fan these days', how optimistic the future feels, and the current direction of the club off the pitch.
The timing at least drew a few laughs from supporters who haven't known how to feel over the last few days: uncertain, attacked, and helpless in a surreal situation that has everything and nothing to do with them and shows no sign of ending despite a verdict finally being in.
It sounded ludicrous on Saturday when City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak wrote that "nothing has changed" in relation to their seismic battle with the Premier League. Less than 24 hours earlier, the bombshell news had leaked that the club have been found guilty of the majority of charges in this high-stakes case.
