The Premier League's Key Match Incidents panel have decided that Everton's second goal against Ipswich Town was rightly disallowed.
The KMI panel 'provides an independent assessment of key decisions in every Premier League match'. This includes the corner in the 58th minute at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, where Thierno Barry found the back of the net from a corner.
However, a VAR review highlighted that Brennan Johnson - who was in an offside position - impeded Christian Walton during the set piece, and referee Stuart Attwell subsequently ruled out the goal.

While the call split opinion, the KMI panel found the VAR decision to be correct, as a clear and obvious error, by three votes to two.
"The VAR intervention to disallow the goal for interfering with an opponent by Johnson was supported, 3:2," the report revealed. "Johnson was clearly in an offside position, in very close proximity to the goalkeper and makes a movement, impacting the goalkeeper's ability to set and move to the ball.
"Two panellists felt that Johnson's position and actions did not impact goalkeeper Walton."
Everton went on to win the match 1-0 thanks to Barry's early strike, with Ipswich down to 10 men in the second half due to Abdul Fatawu's red card.
