Brennan Johnson and Jake O’Brien set for Everton international action tonight

Brennan Johnson and Jake O’Brien could both add to their international minutes tonight as Everton’s players continue their Nations League campaigns.

Johnson’s Wales host Norway in Cardiff while O’Brien and the Republic of Ireland face Austria in Dublin. Both games kick off at 7.45pm UK time.

Everton pair could start again

Johnson has started both of Wales’ matches during this international break and will hope to retain his place against Norway at the Cardiff City Stadium. The Everton forward completed 90 minutes against Portugal before playing 83 minutes in the defeat by Denmark.

O’Brien has also started both of the Republic of Ireland’s games, completing the full 90 minutes against Kosovo and Israel. He could therefore make a third successive start when Ireland face Austria at the Aviva Stadium. Heimir Hallgrimsson’s side go into the game after beating Israel 3-0 on Sunday.
