With three days to go until our Etihad showdown, relive the dramatics from our 3-2 Barclays Women's Super League victory over Arsenal in 2025/26.
It looked like the Blues would have to settle for a point against the Gunners back in October, but the Swiss international’s powerful drive as stoppage time approached moved us up to second in the WSL table.
CITY 3-2 ARSENAL: MATCH REPORT
Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s bullet header had put us in front before Mariona Caldentey levelled inside the first minute of the second half.
We regained our lead when Kerstin Casparij bundled home from a corner, but once again Arsenal hauled themselves back into the game when Chloe Kelly fired in from distance.
But there’d be one more twist in the torrential Joie Stadium rain, as Beney picked up Shaw’s cutback and rifled into the bottom corner for her first City goal.
Enjoy the best of the action from a thrilling tie via the video above...
