Liverpool have already signed the next Jeremy Jacquet in Mor Talla Ndiaye, who is making an impression after signing for the club.
Andoni Iraola's side have spent a significant amount of money over the last couple of years, bringing in the likes of Bradley Barcola, Alexander Isak, and Florian Wirtz.
The trio all cost over £100m each, but Liverpool are yet to see a return on that investment so far.
At the other end of the spectrum, Liverpool have also started to focus heavily on signing young talent from around the world.
As per the BBC, Liverpool have brought in over £230m in sales from players who have represented the club at youth level.
It's an incredibly effective way of making money, signing players for minimal fees from other academies and developing them into saleable assets.
A prime example of this is when Liverpool signed Mor Talla Ndiaye back in January for around £1m after the Reds had scouted him at the U17 World Cup.
Despite being just 18 years old, Ndiaye has already featured for Liverpool's first team under Iraola, and he was also named on the bench under Arne Slot last season.
Many Liverpool supporters have been raving about Jeremy Jacquet this season, and rightly so, but Ndiaye could be the next in the pipeline to establish himself as a regular for the senior side.
It certainly wouldn't be a surprise if Ndiaye, eventually, came straight into the starting XI, like Jacquet this season, and fit like a glove.
With Virgil van Dijk reaching the latter stages of his career, there's every chance Liverpool will field a centre-back partnership of Ndiaye and Jacquet in the future.

Journalist Bence Bocsak has actually suggested that Jacquet and Ndiaye are quite similar. Bocsak suggests he is a modern centre-back in the way he passes the ball from deep, describing it as 'Jacquet-esque'.
The journalist, who specialises in youth football, suggests that they have already signed the next Jacquet in Ndiaye.
The youngster is a player that Liverpool fans should be excited about, but it could be a while before we see him in first-team action.
Ndiaye is the perfect example of signings all Premier League clubs should be looking to make. Bringing in young talent for next to nothing, knowing that even if his career goes down the drain, they've barely lost anything.
If Ndiaye reaches the potential that Liverpool expect, it could turn out to be a masterclass.
