Barcelona have been handed some good news on Raphinha’s injury after the Brazilian returned to the club for tests on a thigh problem picked up on international duty.
Raphinha has withdrawn from the squad for Brazil’s friendly against India due to the problem but hopefully won’t miss any time for Barcelona with the problem.
According to Mundo Deportivo and Sport, Raphinha was checked over at Barca on Friday and no injury was detected.
He should therefore be available for Barcelona’s next game against Getafe, although Hansi Flick could err on the side of caution when it comes to naming his starting XI as October is a key month with some big fixtures.
The news will be welcomed at Barcelona as Raphinha has been in red-hot form at the start of the season, firing in 14 goals already in competition.
Barcelona will now be hoping that the rest of their players return from international duty unscathed next week as Hansi Flick’s side prepare to return to La Liga action after a three-week break.
