Arsenal attacker Christos Tzolis is reportedly expected to be sidelined for up to two or three weeks following an injury.
The Gunners are back in action next Saturday when they host Leeds United at Emirates Stadium.
However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be without Tzolis after he was withdrawn against the Netherlands in the Nations League match last night.
The 24-year-old spent just 17 minutes in the 2-2 draw before he was taken off, and he is now expected to miss a couple of games for the North London club.
It is huge blow for Arsenal given how influential Tzolis has been for Arteta’s side since his arrival in the summer transfer window.
The left winger has weighed in with two assists in six games across the Premier League and Champions League.
He has started all five league games for the Gunners this term but will be unavailable for selection against Leeds.
The Greek forward is also likely to miss the Champions League games against Lille and Bayern Munich and the league games against Nottingham Forest and Everton.
Fortunately for Arsenal, they have enough squad depth in attack, with Eberechi Eze able to step in after losing his starting berth this term.
The Gunners headed into the international break on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
They will be desperate to get back to winning ways against Leeds, and Arteta will fancy his side’s chances of getting the job done.
Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard also picked up knocks during the international break but are both expected to be available against the Elland Road club.
