Premier League football is on the horizon and Arsenal will be eager to bounce back from their crushing 3-0 loss to Brighton ahead of the international break.
Leeds United promise to be formidable opponents, remaining unbeaten in the league so far this campaign with two victories and three draws from their first five fixtures.
Mikel Arteta faces selection dilemmas with several injured players nearing fitness, though his squad should be considerably strengthened by the time the Whites visit the Emirates Stadium.
Assuming no complications, David Raya is expected to be ready to start in goal, as Unai Simon continues as Spain's first-choice keeper following La Roja's World Cup triumph.
In the right-back position, Arteta may finally have two viable options with Ben White and Jurrien Timber both potentially available, the latter having been with the Netherlands working on his fitness while White has been completing his rehabilitation at Sobha.
Both defenders could feature against Leeds, and the same applies to Cristhian Mosquera, who has been training with former club Valencia throughout the international period.
Timber might retain his right-back berth or White could be recalled; Ezri Konsa, who is vying to reclaim his spot in England's starting line-up for their clash with Croatia in Rijeka this weekend, could line up alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in the centre of Arsenal's backline. William Saliba is progressing with his recovery, though a return to action remains some way off.
Riccardo Calafiori is expected to retain his position at left-back, with Piero Hincapie sidelined due to a muscle issue that ruled him out of Ecuador's friendlies against South Korea and Japan in Asia.
In the middle of the park, either Bruno Guimaraes or Myles Lewis-Skelly should partner Declan Rice, who has been recuperating during the international break after pulling out of England duty.
Further forward, Martin Odegaard is set to feature as the No. 10 after seemingly recovering from an ankle knock picked up for Norway against Portugal following Bernardo Silva's late challenge.
Bukayo Saka will maintain his position on the right wing, while Christos Tzolis appears doubtful after an impressive spell with Greece. He found the net against Serbia, set up the decisive goal against Germany, and also scored against Holland last night before the strike was disallowed and he suffered a muscle problem.
He is having assessments today before heading back to north London.
This could present a significant opportunity for Eberechi Eze, who has found starting berths hard to come by this campaign. He appears poised to become the preferred choice on the left wing going forward.
Up front, Viktor Gyokeres may be handed his maiden start of the season with Kai Havertz nursing a hamstring complaint that is not believed to be severe. Possible Arsenal XI vs Leeds: Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Odegaard, Eze; Gyokeres.
