Everton played against Blackburn Rovers in a behind-closed-doors friendly game at Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon.
Everton manager David Moyes was keen to keep his squad busy during the international break, and the Toffees were held to a 3-3 draw by the Championship club.
The Merseyside club found the back of the net through Charly Alcaraz, Thierno Barry and 16-year-old Jonathan Nsangou.
Nsangou played 45 minutes against Blackburn, his first minutes at senior level, and he was assisted by Jack Grealish.
The teenager will hope to get his official debut for Everton this season having trained with the first-team on several occasions.
He has been involved in five goals for the Toffees’ under-18s in the under-18 Premier League this season.
Nsangou has also been a regular for the under-21s and will hope his performances will help boost his chances of breaking into Moyes’ first-team plans.

The Everton boss needs attacking reinforcements after missing out on key targets in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees missed out on AS Monaco’s Folarin Balogun, Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee and Aston Villa’s Tammy Abraham on summer transfer deadline day.
It was a huge blow having allowed Beto join Fiorentina, but Moyes could have been handed a boost following Nsangou’s performance today.
The young striker has been impressing in first-team training, and not many of the senior players will be surprised with him finding the back of the net this afternoon.
