Gerard Martin has been asked for his impressions of Barcelona’s newest signing after a summer which saw plenty of new arrivals at the Camp Nou.
The defender started off with forwards Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon who have both impressed since making the switch this summer.
“[Adeyemi] is a very natural guy, very funny, who is always with a smile on his face and at the disposal of the team,” Martin told Sport before moving onto Gordon.
“He sounds more serious, but he’s funny too. It is true that he may be a little more shy, but I get along very well with him and since he has started he has been at a very good level too.”
Martin also spoke about Rodri and how it’s no surprise he’s adapted quickly to life at Barcelona.
“He’s a top player and he’s always been used to that style of play, to having the ball, and that’s why he also adapts very quickly with us,” he added.
“He has a lot of experience and that is also noticeable in the moments of the matches.
And Martin also had a few words for youngster Jesse Bisiwu, adding: “He’s a very young kid, he’s very talented. He has a lot of talent, but he is very young and he has to get used to it too.”
