Arsenal handed huge injury boosts as trio spotted in Gunners training

Arsenal trio Cristhian Mosquera, Benjamin White and Piero Hincapie have been spotted at the latest training session for the Gunners players not on international duty.

It is a triple injury boost for Mikel Arteta as the Emirates Stadium club look to hit the ground running after the international break.

Arsenal headed into the break on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion and will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host Leeds United next Saturday.

Hincapie was left out of Ecuador’s squad for the international break’s friendlies due to a groin injury.

He was an unused substitute against Brighton and has started just one game for Arsenal this season.

He got injured in training after the Napoli game, missing the next two matches, and he will now hope to be fully fit in the coming days.

White was taken off at half-time when the Gunners faced Sunderland last month due to a muscular injury.

He had looked in discomfort against Napoli in the Champions League having been seen holding his groin and limping towards the end of the game.

The England international is now back in training and could be available against Leeds.

Mosquera missed the last five Arsenal matches with a muscular injury suffered against Aston Villa.

Arteta could have all three defenders available for selection next Saturday.

He could do with quality squad depth at the back given the number of games the Gunners have in the coming weeks.

They play 12 matches in October and November across three competitions and will need everyone available to maintain momentum.
