Former Alabama football linebacker Reggie Ragland, who won two National Championships at Alabama and a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, feels the Tide’s 2026 team has untapped potential.
After the Crimson Tide’s 56-23 win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs, the linebacker said something that could be seen as a warning.
“Crazy thing about bama, still nowhere as good as they are gonna be end of the year. Gotta cut down on penalties!!!” Ragland posted on X.
Ragland’s statement comes after the Tide improved to 5-0 with its win over the Bulldogs. Alabama also scored more than 45 points in each of its games this season.
The Tide’s starting quarterback Keelon Russell is also firmly in the Heisman conversation, a stable of running backs and talent at wide receiver is a major bright spot and the Tide’s defense has shown flashes of being dominant.
If the Tide will be much better in the future, this unit could be scary.
