The Kansas City Chiefs are in desperate need of help at the wide receiver spot after losing two wide receivers in Sunday’s 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Kansas City watched a star wide receiver Rashee Rice left the game with a hamstring injury before recording a single catch. Fellow wideout Tyquan Thornton took advantage of Rice’s exit and had a career game going before suffering his own devastating injury.
Thornton, who hauled in five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns, suffered a dislocated ankle after getting tackled from behind on a 55-yard reception to set up the Chiefs’ win.
With Rice and Thornton out indefinitely, the Chiefs reportedly reached out to NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus about a possible return for wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Chiefs star quarterback PatrickMahomes admitted he had no idea if the team would be able to sign Hill, but said it would be “pretty cool” to play alongside his former teammate again.
Tight end Travis Kelce had a bit more to say on the topic.
“That’s out of my hands, but I know I’d love to have ‘The Cheetah’ back in this building,” he said. “He’s a brother. He’s one of those people who, when he sets his mind to something, he usually delivers. You saw that with Miami, when all the haters were saying he couldn’t play and he went and had his best year. I’d be excited by what he could do (here).”
Kelce leads the team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns this season. Rice and Thornton are the second and third-leading receivers on the team, leaving Mahomes without two of his top three targets.
