Barcelona stars Pau Cubarsi, Xavi Espart and Marc Bernal are among the 25 final nominees for the 2026 Golden Boy award.
The trio have made it onto the shortlist after impressing for the Catalan giants and are nominated alongside other exciting talents such as Ayyoub Bouaddi, Lennart Karl, Junior Kroupi and Yan Diomande.
Here’s a look at the finalists.
Cubarsi is the favorite for victory following a season where he won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona as well as the World Cup with Spain.
The defender also netted the FIFA Young Player Award at the World Cup following an exemplary campaign with Luis de la Fuente’s side.
If Cubarsi does win, he will follow in the footsteps of team-mates Pedri, Gavi and Lamine Yamal who have all previously claimed the prize. The winner will be announced at an event in November in Turin.
