The legendary JoeBucsFan.com game photographer got a question from Joe after yesterday’s loss to the Packers in Tampa:
“Where was Jason Licht?”
There was no photo taken of the Buccaneers Ring of Honor general manager on the field, where Licht has watched games for years. No pregame picture, either.
Very odd.
(If there’s evidence of Licht on the field yesterday, feel free to put a link in the comments below.)
It’s easy to speculate Licht wasn’t on the field because he wants to distance himself from Todd Bowles or didn’t want to be shown on TV and become a topic of conversation on a FOX broadcast. But Joe doesn’t think that’s fair after one only game not being seen on the sidelines.
Perhaps Licht wasn’t feeling well (along with tens of thousands of Bucs fans) or maybe somebody spilled coffee on his suit? The lines of speculation could be endless.
Licht was heard doing his regular pregame interview on the Buccaneers Radio Network, about 25 minutes before kickoff. The interview did not sound pre-recorded.
Joe is curious to see if Licht is on the field Thursday night for the Buccaneers-Cowboys game.
