Barcelona were back to work on Monday after a few days off to begin preparations for Saturday’s La Liga match with Getafe.
Hansi Flick had given those players not on international duty some welcome rest last week but the team and coaching staff were back on Monday as the defending champions aim to go again in La Liga.
Eric Garcia was back in training, after withdrawing from the Spain squad due to a knee injury, and it looks as though he will be available for the weekend’s game.
The Spain star joined fellow first-teamers Wojciech Szczesny, Gavi, Gerard Martín, Gabriel Jesús, Brian Farinas and Alejandro Balde in the session.
Frenkie de Jong is expected to rejoin full training this week but worked individually again, along with Joan Garcia and Raphinha who are also nursing knocks.
Flick will get the rest of his players back during the week after the final round of Nations League fixtures and will be hoping there are no fresh injury concerns to deal with ahead of some key October fixtures.
