Kevin Schade is attracting interest from several top Premier League clubs, with Arsenal among those looking to strengthen their attack.
The German has been one of the most impressive forwards in the Premier League since joining Brentford, and it appears increasingly likely that he will eventually move to a bigger club.
Brentford understands the situation and continues to use Schade as much as possible while he remains at the club. The Bees have also opened discussions over improved contract terms as they attempt to protect his future.
Schade is happy to play for Brentford, but he is unlikely to reject an opportunity to join one of England’s leading clubs. That will encourage Arsenal as the Gunners consider a move for him.
Arsenal faces competition
Arsenal is not alone in the race for Schade, with Liverpool also interested in signing the forward. The most important development for the Gunners is that Brentford may be willing to consider a sale if an acceptable offer arrives.
Football Insider reports that the Bees have opened the door for Schade to change clubs when the transfer window opens. Brentford would reportedly agree to his departure if Arsenal makes an offer that meets its expectations.
The Premier League champions are expected to make a strong proposal, particularly because of Schade’s impressive form. However, Brentford is also attempting to secure him on a new contract, so it may demand a significant fee before considering a transfer.

Schade’s future remains uncertain
Schade’s existing agreement runs until 2028, but Brentford is keen to improve his terms and reduce the risk of losing him in the future. The club has no urgent need to sell, but a substantial offer could change its position.
Arsenal believes Schade would add pace, physicality and goals to its attack. His ability to perform in the Premier League also means he should require less time to adapt than a player arriving from another competition.
Liverpool can offer a similarly attractive opportunity, so Arsenal will need to act decisively if it wants to win the race.
