Arsenal is keen to sign Antonio Nusa, and RB Leipzig has set an asking price for the Norwegian ahead of the next transfer window.
Nusa has been one of the finest attackers in Germany and performed well for Norway at the 2026 World Cup. His displays created expectations that he would leave Leipzig during the summer, but several interested clubs failed to complete a deal.
When the transfer window closed, Nusa remained at Leipzig and has continued to develop. Arsenal had hoped to sign him, but the Gunners focused on attempts to bring in Vinicius Junior and Julian Alvarez, neither of whom moved to the Emirates.
The club ultimately settled for Christos Tzolis as its only left winger, with Eberechi Eze also capable of operating in that position. However, there is a feeling that Arsenal should have added another player in that area.
Leipzig sets Nusa asking price
Nusa could now become the solution, although Arsenal faces a significant financial obstacle. Fichajes reports that RB Leipzig wants €60 million for the winger’s signature.
That figure is higher than Arsenal’s valuation of the player. The Gunners reportedly value Nusa at around €40 million, leaving a considerable gap between the two clubs’ expectations.
Leipzig is in a strong negotiating position because Nusa remains under contract until 2029. The German club therefore has no immediate need to sell and can demand a substantial fee for one of its most promising attackers.

Arsenal must find compromise
Arsenal will now have to decide whether Nusa is worth meeting Leipzig’s asking price. The Norwegian’s development and performances for club and country have increased his value, but the Gunners do not want to overpay.
A compromise may be possible if Arsenal improves its initial valuation and Leipzig reduces its demands. However, the German club’s long-term contract with Nusa gives it considerable leverage during negotiations.
