Falcons crash Saints Domecoming 20th anniversary party 45-24

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - On Oct. 5, the Falcons beat the Saints during the Domecoming anniversary game 45-24.

New Orleans won the original Domecoming in 2006 23-3.

Steve Gleason ignited the Caesars Superdome pregame starting the Who Dat chant. He was joined by 2006 teammates Drew Brees, Scott Fujita, Curtis Deloatch, Michael Lewis, Devery Henderson and Deuce McAllister.

All those positive vibes deteriorated on the first Falcons drive of the game. Bijan Robinson scored on a 59-yard touchdown run to give Atlanta the early edge, 7-0.

Robinson would score another touchdown in the contest, and Brian Robinson Jr. would outdo him with three touchdown runs.

Alvin Kamara scored two touchdowns in the game, a three-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and a 5-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

The Saints are home again Sunday to face Kyler Murray and the Minnesota Vikings in a noon game at Caesars Superdome.
