Arsenal

In the red corner, William Saliba will definitely miss the contest as he continues his recovery from a back issue sustained at the World Cup.

Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis are also highly doubtful after sustaining hamstring injuries while away on international duty with Germany and Greece, respectively.

Havertz picked up the problem just 30 minutes into Germany's first game against Holland in Amsterdam and he returned to London for his rehab after initial scans revealed a strain.

We still don't know quite how long he will be sidelined for, but this match is expected to come too soon for him.

The same applies to Tzolis, who felt something in the back of his right hamstring while featuring for Greece against Holland in Thessaloniki.

football.london understands initial tests carried out by the Greece national team hinted at a 15-20 day absence , which would rule the winger out of Leeds.

Ezri Konsa is a doubt to face them too, after withdrawing from England duty ahead of the clash against Czechia.

He technically should recover in time for the weekend, but Mikel Arteta may look to protect him given the games are coming thick and fast from here on in.

Jurrien Timber is expected to be fit providing he has suffered no issues while away with Holland, while Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera are pushing to be back in the squad against Leeds following groin and hamstring problems, respectively.

Declan Rice should also be back in the mix after skipping England duty, while Marli Salmon is fit, even though he withdrew from England Under-18s duty.

Max Dowman also pulled out of England Under-19s duty on Sunday after receiving a red card in the 2-1 win over the USA. His current status is unknown, but his withdrawal is thought to be precautionary.

Leeds

As for Leeds, they have several players that could miss the contest, including French winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya.

The Eintracht Frankfurt loanee was forced off 35 minutes into France Under-21s match against Luxembourg on Saturday due to an ankle injury.

Harry Wilson is hoping to return after missing all four of Wales' Nations League matches, while compatriot Joe Rodon has also been doing his rehab after suffering a hamstring injury against Brentford earlier in the season.

Dan James is also a doubt. Craig Bellamy said the jet-heeled winger was not fit enough to play against Denmark after starring in the win over Norway.

Forward Mateo Joseph remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury after rupturing his ACL in early April.
