Liverpool has another injury concern to contend with ahead of hosting Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend after Jeremy Jacquet missed France's latest game in the UEFA Nations League.
Reds winger Bradley Barcola played 72 minutes for Les Bleus as they beat Belgium by four goals to one in Paris, but the 24-year-old endured a frustrating night as he failed to make much of an impact, and Jacquet was not involved amid an injury scare for the Liverpool defender.
Jacquet, who has starred for his country already in this international break, felt something in his hamstring and was not risked by Zinedine Zidane. A full diagnosis of how bad the problem is has not yet emerged.

Elsewhere, Dominik Szoboszlai played almost the whole game for Hungary, but his Liverpool teammate Milos Kerkez was given a rest because he was suspended.
Hungary won 2-1 against Ukraine in Slovakia, with Roman Yaremchuk leveling late on, only for Mark Csinger to score the winner a couple of minutes later.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili got some more much-needed minutes under his belt for Georgia as they drew 0-0 with Northern Ireland.

He saved a penalty from the former Everton man Isaac Price in the second half to preserve the point and performed well again, having done well for his country in the last couple of weeks.
Fellow Liverpool ace Kieran Morrison, who is currently on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, came on with around 20 minutes of the game remaining but was unable to help his side force their way past Mamardashvili.
Earlier in this international window, Liverpool forwards Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo were struck down with injury issues and dropped out of further action with Sweden and the Netherlands respectively.
Andoni Iraola will offer the latest update on the duo ahead of the return of club soccer later this week, with the likes of Rio Ngumoha and Lewis Koumas potentially on standby to step up.

Ngumoha has played a small number of minutes for England, while Koumas has been a key man for Wales, building on his excellent start to the new season.
Liverpool hosts Manchester City at Anfield in the first game since the Etihad side was found guilty of the majority of the 115 charges leveled at it.
It then has a Champions League trip to LASK and a Premier League clash with Brentford coming up in a busy week. Liverpool also faces Villarreal, Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Fenerbahce and Crystal Palace before the next international break.
