Browns' Deshaun Watson Turns Heads With Teammate at Huge Event Before Week 5 1
Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns are enjoying a long rest that they surely deserve amid a surprising 3-1 start to the 2026 NFL season. They are coming off a 27-24 win last Thursday over Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers at home, Cleveland’s third straight victory.
The Browns still have a lot to prove for people to believe that Cleveland is more of a contender and less of a pretender.
But at least on Monday, Watson got some free time to show support for another Cleveland pro sports team, the Cleveland Guardians, in Game 2 of the American League Division Series against the visiting Chicago White Sox at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
Also spotted with Watson was Browns star pass rusher Jared Verse, who seems to be loving his new environment after being traded by the Los Angeles Rams in the offseason to Cleveland.

Watson’s Support Didn’t Translate Into a Win For The Guardians

Unfortunately for Watson and Verse, they saw the Guardians suffer a 4-3 loss to Chicago.
The Guardians looked poised to win their first game of the series after going up 2-0 in the first inning, but the White Sox responded by scoring the next four runs of the contest on their way to a 4-3 victory. Chicago is now a win away from eliminating the Guardians, which it can accomplish on Wednesday at Rate Field in Chicago.
As for Watson and the Browns, they are preparing for a Week 5 showdown against a beatable New York Jets squad that is on a three-game slide. Cleveland will meet the Jets on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
In the win over the Steelers, the former Clemson Tigers star quarterback Watson went 24/33 for 268 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception.
