While fans will be happy with the win, they are also concerned for Juszczyk, who suffered a lot during the Week 4 clash. His wife has shared a glimpse into what he suffered.

Juszczyk suffered a right-knee hyperextension and bone bruise during the fourth quarter of the Broncos game at Levi’s Stadium. With 14:03 remaining, quarterback Brock Purdy scrambled left and completed a 16-yard pass to Juszczyk along the sideline. Broncos defensive back Jahdae Barron delivered a low hit to Juszczyk’s knee and midsection, causing him to remain on the field for several minutes before trainers assisted him to the sideline. He entered the medical tent, was ruled out for the remainder of the contest, and finished with two receptions for 28 yards.

After the game, head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated initial evaluations showed the ACL appeared intact and suggested a possible sprain. An MRI conducted the following day confirmed a hyperextended knee with a bone bruise and no major ligament damage. Shanahan stated Juszczyk would miss “a few weeks,” with reports specifying a two-to-three-week timeline.
The 35-year-old has appeared in roughly half of the 49ers’ offensive snaps this season. In his absence, tight ends George Kittle, Luke Farrell, and Brayden Willis will have to absorb his duties.
After the game and returning home, Juszczyk’s wife Kristin posted images of her husband on Instagram. The images showed his facial bruising. One caption read, “That boy has some strong ligaments,” while another said, “When he got home, I said…so have you looked in the mirror yet?” Juszczyk replied in the comments, “Not a strong face tho.”
The 49ers will now prepare to face the Seattle Seahawks in the next game, though Kyle Juszczyk will not be available.
