Arsenal entered the 2026/27 season as the reigning Premier League champions, a feeling the North London club hadn’t experienced in 22 years. They began this season in good form, winning their first seven games in all competitions, including a 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield. The club’s good form came to a grinding halt, losing 3-0 against Brighton before the international break. Ahead of Arsenal vs Leeds on October 10, the Gunners have received a triple injury boost.

The Gunners Receive Triple Injury Boost
Mikel Arteta has had a plethora of players away on international duty, and will be keen for his squad to return unscathed for the visit of Leeds United on October 10, as the Premier League returns to action.
The Gunners have a busy October ahead, with two Champions League games, including the visit of Bayern Munich.

As reported by Standard Sport, the injury situation involving Ezri Konsa is not thought to be serious, but it remains to be seen when the 28-year-old will be available for Arteta. According to England boss Thomas Tuchel, he joined up with the England squad, suffering from a dead leg, before he played the full 90 minutes in his country’s 7-0 win over Croatia.
In a boost for Arteta and the Gunners faithful, Ben White is back in training and is likely to be available for selection this weekend. Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera have both been seen on the training pitch and are closing in on their respective returns. Whether all three are back this weekend remains to be seen, but having three defenders back for the Leeds fixture is undoubtedly a big boost for Arteta.

The Last Word
When Arsenal take the field against Leeds at the Emirates, it will have been 21 days since the 3-0 loss at The Amex. The Gunners will be eager to bounce back and take out their frustrations on Leeds United. Having players return from injury is timely for Arteta, and we can expect to see changes for the Gunners.
Arsenal were second to every first and second ball against Brighton, and it’s difficult not to see Arteta react and make plenty of changes. Having Ben White, Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera all back is a shot in the arm for the squad.
