CASPER, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming has produced several NFL players currently making an impact. Here’s how they did in the most recent week’s slate of games.
Allen was solid on Sunday for the Bills, but it wasn’t enough to lift the team to victory as they fell 29-26 to the New England Patriots.
The star quarterback was an efficient 22-of-33 on his passing attempts, good for 253 yards and a touchdown. He also ran in a second TD, though his outing was marred by a late interception that helped the Patriots hold onto their slim lead.
Thus far this season, Allen has thrown for 1,039 yards and six touchdowns on roughly 66.4% efficiency. His 69.5 quarterback rating is eighth-best in the league.
Allen and the Bills will next be in action Monday, Oct. 12 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Epps did not play Sunday, as his Eagles lost to the Rams 24-20.
Thus far this season, Epps has 14 tackles. The Eagles will next play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Granderson was inactive this week, and the Saints fell to the Atlanta Falcons 45-24. According to reporting from ESPN, Granderson was ruled out due to ankle concerns.
So far this season, Granderson has totalled 11 tackles, a sack and a blocked field goal.
The Saints will next be in action Oct. 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Welch did not record a statistic this past week for the Saints in their Week 4 loss.
Despite not finishing with any receptions or yardage, Welch saw a season-high in usage, with 19 downs played.
Wingard was quiet on Sunday, and his team faltered against the New York Giants 36-24.
Wingard only finished Arizona’s Week 4 game with one tackle, a season-low for him.
In his first season with the Cardinals, Wingard has 23 tackles, a forced fumble and an interception through the first four weeks of the season.
Arizona’s next game will be against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
