In attack, Geovany Quenda, Danny Welbeck and Morgan Rogers have all joined the club, while Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson and plenty of others left. Some have impressed since leaving Stamford Bridge.

Filip Jorgensen wins Strasbourg Player of the Month award
Jimmy-Jay Morgan has starred for West Brom, Jackson has reunited with Unai Emery and already got his name on the score sheet, and Delap has matched his Premier League tally with Nottingham Forest.
But over in France, £20m Chelsea signing Filip Jorgensen has been in superb form. The Denmark stopper has even been wearing the captain’s armband on occasion. Now, he’s the September Player of the Month.
He might have conceded 10 goals in his five appearances without keeping a clean sheet, but Jorgensen is the highest-rated goalkeeper in Europe. He’s fourth in Ligue 1 for shots saved per 90 minutes this term.
👏 Congratulations, FILIP! 👏 Filip Jorgensen has been voted the September Player of the Month! 🏆 https://t.co/UuO8UQ19Z5

Does Jorgensen have a future at Chelsea?
Right now, the answer probably remains no. Chelsea have real faith in Mike Penders, and sold Robert Sanchez to keep the Belgian despite the arrival of Emi Martinez. It feels that the duo are set in stone.
Jorgensen remains contracted to Chelsea until the summer of 2031, after his move from Villarreal. But however he plays at Clearlake’s other club, Jorgensen is simply putting himself in the shop window.
Penders will not be replaced, and Martinez is a whole lot better than Sanchez, Penders or Jorgensen. The loan to Strasbourg is a clear tactic to remind interested parties what he can do ahead of a likely sale.
