The Buffalo Bills have made a transaction on this Tuesday as they prepare for Week 5’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, and this practice-squad signing was a member of the Broncos practice squad in 2025.
A.J. Woods is the newest member of the Bills:
Woods is high-caliber athlete despite his undrafted status. At the Pittsburgh Pro Day in 2024, he measured in at 5’10” and 187 pounds and ran 4.40 with a 37.5” vertical, 123” broad jump, and a blistering 6.70 time in the three-cone drill.
He was a teammate of Bills safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson in 2024 when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. He was also a teammate of Damar Hamlin in college.
Woods has yet to appear in a regular-season game in his NFL career and primarily aligned in the slot during the past three preseasons with the Commanders, Eagles, and Falcons.
There has yet to be a corresponding move after Woods’ practice-squad addition, which puts the team over the allowed 16 (+1 international pathway program player) members.
