'I know his mother': Donald Trump sends message to Lamar Jackson through Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey 1
President Donald Trump used his Tuesday stop at Sparrows Point in Baltimore County to give Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey a message for his quarterback, Lamar Jackson. Humphrey was one of four Ravens players at the event, where Trump promoted a new submarine manufacturing facility. Kicker Tyler Loop, punter Ryan Eckley and long snapper Nick Moore also attended.

“Say hello to your QB. He’s a bit injured. Tell him I know his mother. I met her in Palm Beach,” Trump told Humphrey in a clip from the event shared on X.
Jackson’s mother, Felicia Jones, has long served as his business manager, handling his contract negotiations without a traditional agent.

How serious Lamar Jackson’s ankle injury is for the Ravens
Jackson injured his left ankle on a sack late in the first half of Sunday’s 24-18 win over the Tennessee Titans and did not return. He had completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns before leaving. Baltimore did not score in the second half with Tyler Huntley at quarterback.

9. Ravens (7): Prior to their 22-10 upset loss at Miami on Thursday, they’d never scored fewer than 14 points in QB Lamar Jackson’s first 45 starts — nine games better than the next-best quarterback (Rodgers) at the start of his career. Syndication Palm Beach Post
Jackson left the stadium in a walking boot. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported earlier today that the sprain gives him only an outside chance to play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, though the injury is not considered long-term or surgical. Since 2019, Jackson’s first full year as the starter, Baltimore is 73-34 with him and 6-12 without him.

“We’re still gathering a lot of information and the imaging and things like that,” head coach Jesse Minter said on Monday. “He’s just dealing with a little bit of an ankle [injury] and we’ll see where that shakes out.”
Humphrey has been outspoken on social media in his support of Trump. He is also dealing with his own health question: he left Sunday’s win early with a calf injury.
Is this Trump’s first time singled out Jackson?
In 2020, he retweeted a video of Jackson’s 2018 draft night and called the quarterback a “great pick.” Jackson responded with “Truzz Trump,” then told reporters days later that the post was not a political statement.
“I was just, like I said, just agreeing to what he was saying about me and my teammate,” Jackson said at the time.
Really nice to see this and, what a great pick!

Baltimore is 3-1 heading into Week 5, with the status of its quarterback and its four-time Pro Bowl cornerback both unsettled.
