Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract at Arsenal, putting pen-to-paper on a new four-year deal at the Emirates Stadium.
The 2026/27 season is the Spaniard's eighth full campaign in charge, having taken over from Unai Emery in December 2019 and it is the first campaign that comes with a real expectation.
Arsenal ended a long run without winning the Premier League in 2025/26 by lifting the title ahead of Manchester City, following three seasons of finishing as runners-up.
And Arteta has been rewarded for his work in the dugout with a lucrative new contract to remain in north London until 2030.
Talks have been ongoing for months over extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium, with his previous contract due to expire at the end of the 2027/28 season, with the new contract now signed and subject to the normal regulatory process.
Arteta has enjoyed a long period of success in north London, with fans hoping that continues now he is tied down to a longer-term contract.
