New York Jets News: Jets Reunite With Fan-Favorite Nate Lynn

*Opens up arms and channels my inner Chris Farley from ‘Tommy Boy’* “Brothers don’t shake hands, brothers gotta hug!”

Let’s all welcome back fan-favorite pass rusher Nate Lynn, who signed to the New York Jets’ 53-man roster off the practice squad.

Remember, folks, I don’t give predictions; I give spoiler alerts on ‘Flight Connections.’ In yesterday’s edition, we told y’all that the move to make immediately for the Jets was to place Braiden McGregor on IR (torn pec) and to replace him with Lynn.

Thanks, everybody, I’ll be here all week!

Oh wait, I’m being told I still have to finish this column before I depart- whoops.

Lynn can hopefully provide a spark for this lackluster pass rush. He will eat McGregor’s 18% of the defensive snaps and maybe more with some of the injury issues (I’m looking at you, Kingsley Enagbare).

In the short term, the Jets had to do this, but hopefully they keep a careful eye on free agency or some select cheap trade opportunities if the right thing presents itself.
