Arsenal have confirmed manager Mikel Arteta has signed a new lucrative long-term contract until June 2030 after guiding the Gunners to Premier League title glory last season.
The Spaniard's existing deal, signed back in September 2024, was poised to expire at the end of the current campaign but he's now penned fresh terms that include a notable pay-rise and additionally, will take him into over a decade at the club.
Arteta returned to Arsenal, who he previously captained as a player, in a coaching capacity back in December 2019 after leaving his role as Manchester City's assistant coach.
He won the FA Cup in his first season at the helm and then fired the Gunners back into the Champions League before launching three consecutive title challenges.
After three successive second-place finishes, his perseverance finally paid dividends last season when he ended Arsenal's gruelling 22-year wait for the biggest prize in English football.

The team also reached the Champions League final in Budapest, where they eventually fell narrowly short to reigning champions PSG on penalties following a tense 1-1 draw on the banks of the Danube.
Crucially, Arteta's backroom team have also agreed to renew their contracts in alignment with the duration of the manager's new deal.
Statistically, from his 361 matches in charge, he has the best win percentage (62.05) of any full-time manager in the club's illustrious history.
Arteta said upon extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium: “It's a privilege to commit my future to the club and to continue to work with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal.
"This club is unique, its character and the way it makes you feel, and I have a great sense of privilege that our journey together will continue.
“We have already built a special bond and created memories that will last a lifetime, and what is so exciting is that this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together.
“I'm extremely grateful to Stan and Josh for their trust and support, and feel honoured to be leading this club through such a special period in its 140-year history.
