Few teams escape the international break without some kind of fitness issue, which can often lead to a sense of frustration as the Premier League prepares to resume this weekend.

And it's been no different this time around, particularly after the game's bosses decided on an international break which has crammed four fixtures in three weeks.

Alex Scott's injury whilst away with England has again ignited the club vs country row as teams lay the blame for their player's welfare with the national sides.

We've seen a spate of players withdrawing from international duty, Arsenal infamously doing so previously, as clubs look to protect their players. Cole Palmer's decision to miss this set of England games served as a major frustration to Thomas Tuchel.

We're about as far from the business end of the season as you can get, which can make stomaching injuries that bit easier, but equally no manager wants to be without his best players for any period of time.

We've got some huge clashes this weekend, some having major subplots. Manchester United face Tottenham as two underfire managers square off whilst Manchester City play for the first time since their guilty verdict, against Liverpool of all teams. We cast our eye over all 20 clubs to see how their squad is looking.
